I can do it all by myself!

So, yesterday, I soloed in the airplane! I went up with the instructor for about an hour. After that, I dropped him off and took the plane back up solo and did three landings. Thing seem to be easier when there isn't an instructor in there with you. Tragically, I have no pictures of said solo event, only because it's difficult to take pictures when you should be flying an airplane.

So, I hope everyone had a terrific Thanksgiving. I did not make it to Chicago to see the birth of my goddaughter, Camille. Leave issues. I did however spend the weekend with someone I met online and her family down in Corpus Christi. It was nice to be with a family, at least.

This is what the airplane looks like. It is a Cessna 172

In case you can't read it, I am flying at 1600 feet above sea level.
