'bout time for an update

Sorry, it's been a while. There just has not been a lot going on until recently. So, let me hit on the main points.

I just got a job while I wait for training to begin. I am now a section leader for the flight that all waiting navigator students are assigned to. What this means is that I and two other Lts are responsible for the accountability of all the Lts waiting for training. This means that we deal with their inprocessing to the squadron, we help get them started on their flying training, and we find them jobs for when the get in the position that I was in (just sitting and waiting). We also do what our flight commanders ask us to do to help make their jobs easier. It's a pretty simple job that typically goes from 0730 to 1130, but sometimes longer depending on what needs to be done. So, that is how the work side of things is going.

On the family side, my goddaughter Camille was baptized on 11 Feb. It was great to get up to Chicago to see the family. And soon I will be driving up to Minnesota for my buddy Lt Steve Cain's wedding in Hastings. Lone Star to North Star in just 18 hours. Another friend down here and his girlfriend will (should) be driving up with me. It'll make the driving easier. We should be up on 27 March, I believe, and remain up there for at least thru the next Sunday. So, it should be a good time.

On the personal side, no, I do not have a girlfriend......still.....

Anyway, I think that should do it for catching you up. It'll probably be a while, again, before the next update. But I do try to get something at least once a month.

Hope all is well with the world out there. Keep in touch!
